Software like Google Earth to observe Sun
Anyone havs maked observations and potos for Sun or Moon with google earth? I need to make a paper theme about Sun and Moon with some pictures , about how to see other planets. Anyone know other programs like this (i cannot have acces to a telescope).

Celestia would be ani software piece for you.
There are other programms but i think Celestia should do.

Google Earth can work. You should also take a look at Microsoft's Worldwide Telescope, which is free. There is a new online telescope rental company called LightBuckets where you can actually use research grade telescopes over the Internet.
