Sorry the way i understand there is a 1 and 25 chance for an impact and i sure would love to see it. Do you know of any time of impact they are predicting?

You are correct the odds are currently at 1 in 25. The expectation is that those odds will grow as more orbital data is gathered on the asteroid. In the unlikely event of an impact, it would happen on January 30th at 2:55 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

You bet...if something happens. Not sure what we'll be able to see from here. Perhaps some dust plumes? We'll have to wait a bit to see. It would be an amazing event if it comes to pass.

Of course, it was fantastic. I was outside with my Meade LX-200 watching. It was pretty amazing to see the blemishes rotate into view.
